29" fork weight weening

The lightest would probably be the BW 0.8, at 1675 g uncut. Mr. One's pic below from an earlier thread. I once got a price from the UK, by the way: £475 at www.billys.co.uk.

On the other extreme is probably the MX Comp Coil. My '03 was 2402 g with 195 mm steerer and without starnut. Remove the 150 g coil springs, swap the steel steerer for a 150 g lighter aluminum one, and get a better damping cartridge, and you have the Marathon SL at about 2000 g.

The BW 1.0, seemingly the only 100 mm option, is perhaps around 1800 g?

I don't know about the real weights of the Winwoods.

I was concidering a USE SUB fork. I think the quoted weight for one is 1900g. I would guess the 29" version would come in at 2000g but I think this weight includes the hub.

I didn't know of that fork. Sure would be interesting to see it mounted to a 29 incher, and then read a ride report. I couldn't easily find a price for it so I guess it's not a volume product and that the price thereby is pretty steep.
