28" wide bars? Who makes them?

Gravity, which is component line made by FSA, makes 28" wide carbon bars for downhill and freeride. 230 grams, but super-wide and beefy. They make metal versions, but it's cool to see a company using carbon to make stronger stuff (downhill), and even though it weighs more than an XC handlebar, it should be insanely strong.henryl said:

Easton AM Havocs exactly 711mm 290grms comes in standard or oversize. :thumbsup:

Sunline V2 28" wide. About $50. I love mine. 711mm wide and they come in 1 or 2 inch rise. But only in 31.8 oversize. claimed 335 grams.

The Easton Monkey Lite DH bar is 28" wide... Apparently wicked strong and they meet your sub 300g criteria (they 240gr in 31.8 version).
If you don't want carbon - the Truvativ Holzfeller come in 710mm (28") and weigh 299gr, and their Team Riser also available in 710mm, and are 260gr.

Third vote here, I've been running them on my Dirtbag for a couple of months and they are equally as strong as the Race Face Diabolus bars they replaced and way lighter. Like XC light, almost. Cut an inch off the ends and you get 28".in the trees said:
