You'd be best off asking other local riders, or a shop. Then get something reasonable and try it out yourself.

what kinda tread pattern do i need to b looking for.... im getting into biking and do alot of trail riding... some mud and creeks and dry dirt pine straw etc... do i need a real aggressive tire or a mildly aggressive??

Agreed, check out what other riders in your area are using. You'll usually come up with two or three tires that seem to be popular. There is usually a reason for it. Also check out the local shops in your area. Especially those that have employees that ride, they'll be using what works for the local terrain. Tell them how and where you ride, if they're worth spit they'll hook you up with something that will work for you.
