I'm thinking of upgrading the wheels on my bike

It's a 2009 Trek EX7 still on its original Bonty Dusters

I'm a gnats bollock under 90kg in full riding kit, i don't tend to break wheels, don't do jumps or ride particularly hard these days
But the areas i ride in are extremely rocky

I will build the new wheels with Hope Pro4 hubs
Figure if i'm going to go with new hubs and a rebuild costs i may as well get new rims as well

If i can save some grams as well, all good

What 26" rims do you recommend please?

Your rims should be selected by what tire width you intend to ride. I have two sets of 26er rims. The ones I use for XC are Stans Crest MK3 running 2.2 width tires and I have a set for trail, WTB Team Frequency i23 (the biggest tire I can run is a 2.3). The WTM rims were on sale and are a tad heavier, but if you aren't a wieght winnie, it shouldn't matter. I am 96kg and I no problems with either set. If I want to take high drops or agreesive jumps, I leave the Crests at home.
