I use this combo 26" DT Swiss rim, Continental X King 2.2 standard and Notube kit (even though notube said ok to use). Just to let you know I been on this rock garden section hundred times and next thing I know an air leak and down I went and out of action for 2 weeks. Very lucky not to seriously injured myself though I was out of action for almost 2 weeks. I use to be a big fan of notube and now I'm not too sure as I've been using this system for almost 6 years now.
I wonder if a tube inside the tyre would make a difference? The tyre was fine no damage or anything that look suspisious and still straight. I guess I can only blame the rim DT Swiss, the wheelset I'm using is the DT Swiss 1700 series.
