It's that time to change my hayes mag disc pads, but the local shop wants $25 per wheel!

Is this normal price for hayes oem pads? Wow, that's crazy.

Any good online source for pads to be used in dry conditions for my 165 pound xc self?

Pricepoint, Jenson, www.mtnhighcyclery.com (mountain high)

Install them yourself and save $$$

I would give Larry at mountain high a call. He can give you the best service.
Thanks. Taking the 5 seconds to yank the pads out is not an issue; like I'd pay a shop to do that. I was just shocked at the retail price of the tiny pads, hence the post. I will look into PP, Jenson or Larry. Again, thanks.

That seems over priced. I am a shop that specializes in downhill parts and Hayes brakes and I only charge $18 for Hayes sintered pads. http://www.balleracing.com/Hayes_Pads.htm
