DROPPER POST - V2

Adjustable down to 230mm or 220mm.

I think its awesome if you've got the frame to utilize it.

Might have to take some serious measurements on my Spire to see if I can make it work at 240, 230. or 220.

I took measurements, sadly the longest I can go on the Spire is 210mm.

Bummer, I am good for the full 240 on my XL Offerring....just barely.
Sweet! I just measured my Kona Process 134 with a 210mm dropper. This makes me giggle. I know I can get lower!

I have 2 or 3 bikes the 240 will fit in but all these frames have 210mm droppers and I'm not sure I need or want any more than 210. 🙅‍♂️

I can't believe I just said that.

My LBS has these in stock and I reckon I might have just enough room to fit one. Will be measuring up tonight.

According to Mike no one even buys droppers longer than 150mm...looks like OneUp is going out of business with this terrible business decision. RIP.

But seriously, I have one on order. I've got about 60mm of post showing with my 210mm dropper.

That's awesome. Currently have a 210 with about a cm of space to spare but that's on a bike with a 500mm seat tube. On another frame with something like a 460-480 seat tube i'd have a bunch of post showing. Thanks OneUp!
Don't forget to check your insertion amount. Just because you have a lot of post showing doesn't mean you'll be able to insert this new 240mm post far enough. I have 90mm showing on a 180 OneUp. But there is not enough insertion to go with the 240mm because the cartridge part of the post is also 60mm longer.

Why? I have a 36 inseam and have down sized from a 200 back to a 185. It never ever gets in the way even on fall lines. The main reason was squatting to drop it was hurting my knees with no benefit.

It's a good point. Luckily the OneUp Droppers are one of the most compact designs around, and most of the people buying these will be on XL frames, but yeah, droppers need to fit on both ends. (y)

Same here except in my case it's not the squatting to drop that causing knee issues, it's standing up while pedaling at speed in order to raise the saddle back up.
The knee issue seems to be a wintertime thing. That and I realize I've been "favoring" my right knee to take all the abuse (aka weight while pedaling/standing.)
I'm currently learning to utilize both legs while bringing the saddle back up.

The saddle doesn't move as far laterally while leaning the bike.
