24 hour NORBA National Champ race is moving from Washington state to Wisconsin.

I know that is great news for those in the midwest and I'm happy for all those that benefit from it. But it really bites for us up here in the northwest where as of this time there is exactly ZERO major NORBA events available to us in 2006. I'm having a hard time finding a good reason to purchase a 2006 NORBA license due to the lack of races. I'm sure there are many others up here thinking the same thing.

I've been having a hard time finding a reason to purchase a NORBA license for a whie now...and it has nothing to do with where I live!

The venue looks good. However, putting the event 1 week before TransRockies is such a major blunder...WTF is NORBA thinking??? This scheduling is utterly lame. It will eliminate *at least* 2 top solo contenders that I know of, and probably more.

There aren't that many top level endurance events on the global calendar. NORBA pay attention!

SS class at The Burn??

I prefer to be classless.

(thread hijack in progress, sorry)

I do think moving things like Nationals/Worlds/whatever makes a lot of sense.

I think the endurance racing calender is plenty full and it is very hard keeping events from getting too close together.
