Congratulations to all of the participants in this year's event!

It was great to see so many faces that we have become accustomed to over the years and just as exciting to see so many new participants. Teams traveled from as far as; Illinois - USA, Michigan - USA, New York State - USA, Pennsylvania - USA, Sudbury, Ottawa, Kingston, Timmins, Rouyn-Noranda - QC, Val-D?or - QC and Roxton Pond - QC.

Results are already posted on the web site with your team splits for viewing.

The Ganaraska Forest was in perfect condition and from all accounts the course was a real hit. Josh Martyn of Alpha Racing designed the fast and fun 15km course with a good mix of double track, climbs and rewarding descents, as well as some great single track.

The camping areas were very spacious and the wonderful surroundings of the Ganaraska Forest made for a beautiful backdrop.

The weather through the weekend was overall very good, however the less than stellar cool summer Ontario is facing made for a frosty evening. While Saturday afternoon was pretty much perfect, rising weather Sunday heated up quickly and made for a warm finish to the event.

The 'best team spirit award' was won by team "Hoof Hearted Racing" and received a $500.00 certificate towards next year's event.

We would once again like to thank Alpha Racing (the Martyn family) our partner in this year?s event. With out the awesome support of the following companies this event could not take place and ask you, to "support those who support you".

Thanks to Jeep Canada for the past three years of support at the presenting level; thanks to Sisu our hydration partner who made sure product was available not only in the expo, but at the check points and in the transition area; thanks to "Nightpro" for not only a great rental pool, but the quick chargers; thanks to our media partners; Pedal Magazine - 11th year, explore magazine - 2nd year, mtbr our internet partner, Fox Racing Shox, Hayes Disc Brakes, Thomson, Rudy Projects, Crank Brothers and Louis Garneau.

A special thanks to Roy from Cyclops who traveled from Wisconsin to support all the riders with the "Cycleops Warm Up Area".

A big thanks also, goes out to "King's Court Catering" for providing food & beverage options throughout the weekend. Also to "On-Site Massage" who looked to be busy throughout the weekend as well.

On a side note: Mavic USA was on route to our event for the 2nd yr. when their trailer broke down (Thursday) and they sent their apologies and look forward to making the trek to the great white north next year.

Overall category winner include:

Kevin Chew in the 12 hour solo category - 9 laps
Alexandra Filion in the Men's Solo category - 20 laps
Team Tyre-less in the 4 person open category - 27 laps
