Just looked at a few international Specialized sites and noticed the "Coming Soon" 2022 Chisel was spec'd with all SRAM parts instead of Shimano. Level T brakes, Base gets SX 12 speed drivetrain and Comp gets NX with X1000 cranks. Hubs were Deore hubs before are now just "Alloy, sealed cartridge bearing" hubs. Is this an upgrade or a downgrade or a wash....just curious. I have the 2021 Chisel with the Shimano bits and I love how it performs. Comp also gets gumwall tires. Looks like the price was $200 AUD more...so $150 USD. Thoughts?

This frame doesn't deserve a judy fork and nor a entry level drivetrain...
agreed on both. The frame is brilliant. Im upgrading my fork to a SiD SL. The 2021 Deore drivetrain has been bulletproof and reliable. When things start to wear out I will go up a level or 2 to SLX or XT.
