I've been pondering the idea of how my blur tr would handle with 130mm fork vs the stock 120. Anyone quite possibly done this on the v4 blur yet? Or have any thoughts on what the effects would be on this specific bike?

Hey kbecker, I just threw a 130mm Fox Factory 32 on my 2022 Blur TR. I absolutely love it. A bit slacker but I’ve gotten use to it. I actually prefer it to the stock 120mm.

Hey @Tywa ! Any other comments you could share with us regarding your experience with the 130mm fork? Did you make any changes in the back? How balanced is the bike (other than the slacker angle, which isn't necessarily something bad). The only other reference on the whole www is this article where there's a reference to "a pre-approved 130mm" [fork]. Thank you!

Not exactly the same bike but I swapped the 120 for a 130 on my 2020 Blur XL & would never go back. I'm 6'1" and at almost 60 years old wanted a higher stack the added .4 or so slacker helped too (bike HT was at 68 degrees with a 120) increased the stability/ longer wheelbase. Don't really notice much on climbs/descents once I adjusted my position to weight the front end. It reduced the seat tube angle some but I like that = don't like the steep ST on long in the saddle rides.

I have the 2022 Blur, which started with a ‘21 120mm Fox 34 SC performance. I the. moved to a Fox 34 130mm factory with Grip2, before changing that air shaft down to 120mm. Grip2 is an awesome damper and really helps the bike better deal with the rooty terrain around here. Slackening the HA was noticeable and added a small penalty to climbs/cornering. I do think the bike probably works best with a 120mm, especially on steeper climbs. Keep in mind that the axle to crown length of non-SC Fox 34s adds an extra ~10mm on top of any travel changes.
