2022 Norco Optic

I have a C2 on order which is supposed to arrive in May. Are there any spy pictures out there of the new 2022 Optics. Are there any changes for the 2022 model?

Also could anyone provide a little feedback on the Optic vs a Trek Fuel Ex. Or Santa Cruz 5010. Thanks!

Thanks but I think that is the 2021 bike unless the”22” is the same. I cannot seem to find anything on the 22’s and the Website only has a few 22 bikes.
There is a good chance Norco (like a few others) will just re-badge the 2021 bikes as 2022 bikes, as supply issues still plague the industry.

So rather than risk painting them a new colour and them not turning up for many months, they will just roll the 2021 model year out as a 2022 (maybe with the odd spec change/latest version of a fork or shock etc).

That is me just speculating tho.... best bet would be talk to the dealer you have your order with to find out if there are genuinely 'new' 2022 bikes coming or reach out to Norco directly and ask them what the score is.

Either way, you will have an awesome bike! Optic FTW :D

Whether they re-badge the 21ers or come up with new paints and specs, you'll most propably - for sure no surprise - pay more bucks for the same value this year.
Looks like the Bigfoot 1's are identical spec to last years but a different color and ~$200 more.
2022 Optic Models are out now!!

Looks like colors are the only changes?
i am slightly underwhelmed to be honest. But equally, good to see no frame updates, saves me some money :D

Looks like they downgraded a few things on the C3's. Really curious what the purple and black colors look like in real life. Norco needs to figure out how to post multiple HQ images for each model on their website.. Interesting that the front and rear brakes are different, but the levers actually seem like an upgrade since they have reach adjustment. I got a good deal on some takeoff's so I swapped the stock C3 brakes on my '21 for SLX BR-M7120 and SLX levers. Otherwise I would have just done the levers. Glad I got mine last year.

I actually clocked the brakes, hubs (maybe) and cranks as an upgrade on the C3. I've only heard good things about the brakes and TRP is a good brand. The hubs are more of an unknown but have sealed cartridge bearings and you can upgrade the freehub for minimal cost to increase engagement just not much info on reliability. The cranks are almost a half lb lighter, only downside to them is the chainring which seems hit or miss. The real downside I see is the increased cost across all the models. The C2 feels like a really poor value when looking at the rest of the range.

I totally agree with the brakes and the cranks, and I'm sure we'll find out about the hubs soon enough. Price on the C3 didn't go up as much as I was thinking it would.
I also have a 2021 Norco Bigfoot 1, and the 2022 BF1's with basically the exact same spec are $599 more.

Picked up my C3 yesterday. Hard to capture the real purple color. It looks great. 1 ride in and so far I'm very happy. The bear pawls are rather loud. 32.4lbs ish with pedals.
