That avalanche color looks sweet.

But my V1 RLT 9 RDO will be my ride of choice till something actually better comes along, or I break it.
The frame looks great, but for the price of it you can buy a complete Trek Checkpoint in carbon.
I'm not really a fan of anything SRAM, but with Shimano shortages, I think SRAM will be on 95% of new bikes for 2023.

I have the same but am itching to build up another as a straightbar singlespeed. That red! 🤩

Trek has some nice features, especially the built-in storage. But they took away singlespeed compatibility with the new frame design, and tire clearance is a little less than the RLT RDO. I am the fringe use case though...

You can't go wrong with the RLT. I was looking at one a while ago.
I have an old Trek Crossrip and want to build up my next gravel bike, since I want something to last another 8 seasons and still be exactly what I want it to be.

I'm crossing my fingers that I can buy a Warbird frame, and I should know by the end of November if my LBS will be allocated one, but if not, I'm trying to scout for other options. There is a 50 mile gravel race in my town that happens every September, and I want to give it a try next year. Dropout axles and cable brakes just aren't cutting it for me anymore.
I'm sure they are great like a friend's model.

FYI on fit and pricing. Age has made high stack and shorter reach really important. Not many production bikes address that. A Vaya does but still has had the mix of QR and through axle. Moots solves fit but it at a high price. The almost hidden secret to me is Waterford/Gunnar. You can have custom fit and reasonable pricing compared to lots of boutique and name brand stuff. One associate of mine questioned their really being a good bike company and builder. I pointed out they've only been at it for decades, and they have good delivery times.
I really like the red and black. My daughter saw the white one and said it looks the best...

I have the 2021 Blue and its grown on me. At first I wasn't into it, but after some long rides and just having it around its alright. But how I wish they had the RLT in the Hot Tamale red of the WFO... Gawd that's a nice color.
