i what thinking on keeping stock travel on the nomad, but 29er in the front.Considering you'd have to lower a 29er fork by about 20mm to maintain the geometry, that's going to be a weird mismatch of travel on the mixed nomad : 150mm 29er front with the 170mm rear. Not to mention the fork is then even shorter travel than the Bronson.
IMO you'd be better off waiting for a Bronson frame.
Gotcha, unfortunately I would highly advise against that. The geometry changes would be too much, about a degree slacker, and more importantly the reach will be reduced by quite a bit, not to mention the bottom bracket height increase.
