I have been evaluating both bikes as they are very close in price, suspension travel, and are both "Trail" bikes. I ride North East rocky, root filled trails with some challenging climbs with some aspirations to ride bike parks in the future.

The big issue I have with the Meta TR is the RS 35 Silver R Coil Fork. I can find no review and the lack adjustability of a coil is concerning. The Meta TR is substantially heavier (~34 LBS) than the T8 (~31 LBS) but seems more cable for more aggressive riding. There is also no dropper post included. Superficially, I like the looks of the Meta TR better.

The T8 seems to have great components for the price, more updated geometry, includes a dropper post, and is much lighter.

Any opinions or experience on these two bikes? I suspect I would be happy with either bike but I may regret the RS 35 Silver R fork on the Meta TR.

T8 also has SLX components, 2.6 wide tires. Tectro brakes but 4 pistons. I’ve had T8 for few months and love it. I’m new to the sport and don’t have a lot to compare to.

I just saw a pinkbike review of the Polygon and they loved it. They said it favors chunky trail and downhill and does just okay in the climbs. They especially loved the Fox Rythm shock and SLX drivetrain.

Looking at the components, the Siskiu is clearly the better build. I also think it’s the better looking bike and it’s very close in weight to the Meta.
