I have a friend with the new Slash, he says it's hard work to pedal. The Remedy on the other hand is like a big travel xc bike.

Agree about the Remedy. Pedals as well as my 14 Fuel Ex 8 which is considered a XC bike by today's standards.

I have a curious question. S & XS use a 210x52.5mm shock, the M=XL use a 210x55 shock. So do the larger bikes have more travel, like 136mm? Or are there differences in the linkage to keep the travel the same?

Is there a difference in the Rocker link for the little bikes?

The XS and S sizes with 27.5" wheels use a shock with a shorter stroke to gain more standover clearance. We also increased the leverage rate on these sizes so that smaller riders can run higher shock pressures for optimal suspension performance.

Rocker links and stays are shared across all sizes. Frame geo is what makes the change between smaller and larger frames.
