So I've found that Pike air shaft swapping doesn't seem to be as straight forward as Lyrik.

If I have 2019+ Pike, and want to have a B1 air spring in it and get close to 120mm of travel, what is the best option?
It currently has a 130mm C1 air spring.

1) Install a 2014-2017 B1 120mm air shaft assembly
2) Remove the foot nut and seal head from above and install it on a 120mm C1 air shaft assembly
3) Remove foot nut and seal head from B1 and install on current 130mm C1 air shaft assembly

Thanks!

i have a 2017 Intense Spider 140mm Pike.. i reduced the rear travel to 115mm (adjustable) but front end still 140.. i was thinking go 130mm to make the bike more efficient trying pedal keep up with my faster xc buddy.. not sure how much it will help...question : why reduce front end travel?
( what id really like is light fast rolling carbon wheels) :)

Fork is used and going on a new bike that runs 120mm up front.

I could run it at 130mm, but I really don't like the C1 airspring. Might as well make the travel correct as well.

what exactly dont you like about the C1? did i read its too much negative air spring? Im looking at getting the B1 also... i think i found it on Amazon...i was going follow RS online instructions PDF...
Reduced negative volume compared to C1, so less sensitive off the top and less support in the middle. Closer to Vorsprung luftkappe feel.

I just swapped a Lyrik back to B1 from C1 and was very pleased.

At this point I think I am swapping the B1 seal head and foot nut into the current 130mm air shaft. Should end up around 125mm or so.

As it happens, I have a B1 at 120 in a Lyrik chassis (the old "Pike+"). It sags at ~5mm from full travel resting on the ground.

I'm not worried about that little difference, though I would note that assuming a similar percentage going up, a 130 would be sitting around 125ish, anyway.

Honestly, either way works well. The air shafts don't even need clamps to swap crap anymore, so it's easy peasy (other than maybe having to wait 24 hours for the loctite to cure on the foot nut).
