My Genius is pretty modified. Pretty much just the fork and shock are stock. The Genius did very well, however the shock had a little trouble keeping up with rapid successive hits. I looked into getting the newer Nude TR shock with ramp control switch and found out it's $2,450 for the Kashima coated one! WTF!
The Genius took everything I threw at it. Would I have been a more comfortable and less beat up on a Ransom? Definitely. But I ride park maybe once or twice a year. Otherwise, I'm on pretty tame trails. The Genius is the perfect all-rounder. I sure wish I could get that 2019 shock though.
