2018 Hightower LT - XT M8000 brake caliper bolts
I need to find out two things regarding the REAR brake specifically:
1) For 180mm rotors does the XT M8000 brake caliper mount directly to the frame or does it need an adapter?
2) Given the answer to the above, what size caliper fixing bolts do I need?
Background:
Bike came with 203mm rotors installed but due to supply chain issues and lack of replacement 203mm (6-bolt) rotors I want to temporarily downsize to a 180mm rotor which I already have. The existing bolts are too long due to the 203mm brake adapter.
