Picked up this frame earlier in the year for a bargain price from the Chain Reaction eBay store - they generally sell returns and bikes that they've taken parts of for warranty etc.
This was a Sport model that had been used to take parts off. It came with some Suntour 100mm air forks, stem and square taper BB.
Paid the princely sum of £150 for this - frames were £375 on there own new....
The build is going to be:
2017 Nukeproof Scout frame with Nukeproof headset - medium
Marzocchi 350CR 160 forks
Shimano XT 1*11 with 11-42t cassette and 30t chain ring
Brand-X 125mm dropper with Bontrager lever
Superstar EX23 wheels
On-One Chunky Monkey and Smorgasbord Trail Extreme tyres - tubeless
SLX brakes with Uberbike floating rotors
Nukeproof Sam Hill bars and zero stem
Lizard skin Peaty grips
Hope head doctor, grip doctors and seat clamp
Taped the frame with Heli-Tape to give it a bit of protection.
Started putting it together the other day. Spent a pleasant couple of hours in the sunshine building it.
Just got chain, rotors, pedals and tubeless sealant to do, set up forks and then all ready to go.
