So looks like the new 2017 Fuels EX will come as 27.5 with ability to run 29 wheels and come 130/140?. The 2016 29 can fit the 27.5... And will be 120/120. If one were wanting a more cross country bike I'm leaning at the 2016 model and maybe getting an extra set of 26.5 to run if I to get rowdier. Will the extra squish on the new models detract from cross country riding or will I just feel it when things get too gnar? Definitely in an analysis paralysis... Ooh and Trek has the 2016 models on the cheap now... Just looking for input and more input on different perspectives.
Thanks!

The complete list of 2017 models have not been released yet
the 3 models that have for 2017 is the Fuel EX 27.5 Plus models a 9.8, 8 and a 5

I have a 2016 Fuel EX9 29er which is a 130/120 travel bike ( for sale ) that will fit a 27.5 plus tire 2.8" back and 3" front.

the current 2016's are fast and can do XC or some fun trails with jumps etc. the 27.5 plus likes more of the rougher trails. but can still do XC just fine.

You should ask this question again late Thursday, after a bunch more of the 2017s are announced.

Where is this shop? I'd take one for $3600!
