I have a 2016 Intense Carbine 29 (generation 1) and considering an upgrade to 12 speed but I am concerned that since the bike wasn't designed around 12 speed, I might have a problem with the chain alignment between the front ring and the cassette. Am I overthinking this or not? I seem to recall offset front chainrings at some point in my past seemingly to resolve chain line issues . . Any help is appreciated.
