Demo'd a 16 Fuel EX but can't recall if it was the 9 or 9.something. Anyways the rear suspension on that thing was awesome. No pedal bob but absorbed trail chatter. Really impressed with the small bump compliance yet still had a good stable platform for pedaling. Is it because of the new EVOL shock or specifically due to the Re:aktiv valving?

I kinda want to throw one on my tallboy if it's just the EVOL. Otherwise I might just have to sell it for a Fuel or Remedy. :eekster:

I haven't had a chance to play with pressure much and I've only been on a few mild trails but so far it feels great on my Tracer with VPP. I'm running in the 145mm travel setting instead of 160mm and the shock feels solid and controlled. I don't have any pedal bob but I didn't have that on my Sight with the Monarch shock either though.

Float Evol is the best Float series shock Fox has ever done in my opinion.
I've been a fan of various Float/RP/CTD shocks over the years.
Have CCDBAs and Rock Shox air shocks on bikes as well.
Really liking the 2016 Float EVOL though.
Running it on a Foes Mutz that sees lots of up and lots more down on sandy, rocky and blown out moto trails.
Super easy set up and great performance over a range of PSI.
Will likely retrofit my few year old Tallboy LT with one.
