I've read a couple of apparently unsubstantiated reports about the Küat NV rack not fitting properly on the 2014 Subaru Forrester.

Doe anyone have any actual firsthand experience using these two products together with an OEM or after-market hitch? If so, I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you!

Mine is the 2.0D-S. Do you guys get the diesel? There might be some different hitches going around because they are a dealer fit item here.
I'm not aware of the availability of diesel here. I'm assuming the rest of the vehicle is pretty much the same.

I have heard from two separate people I've sold 14 Foresters to that they had rack clearance problems. One was a T2 rack, not sure of the other. Both cases had aftermarket racks. They dontbseem to stick out as far as OEM rack.

The OEM rack is pricey but it would be worth it to me.

Yes, it does work!

I had to answer my own question.

We got the Kuat NV and put it on our 2014 Forrester. It works great with the OEM hitch!

I guess this officially puts to rest the strange rumors about this vehicle/rack combination not working.

Shutter Jim - Mind posting a picture of how far the OEM rack sticks out?

XJaredX - I'm assuming you meant "hitch" and not "rack."
