  • Hello,

This is my first post on MTB but I'm on the site quite a bit.

I have a question about the bottom bracket setup on this bike. The bike was ordered directly from Devinci but it came to my lbs in a couple separate orders because they didn't have the bike in my size. So the lbs is building it up for me.

My lbs mechanic is having troubles getting the Shimano XT cranks to work with the PF30.

I have noticed on the Devinci specs it say the bb is a PF30 Adaptor.

It seems weird that a bike from the factory would be using adaptors like WheelsMFG or others.

Does anyone know the proper procedure Devinci would use for this XT cranks with PF30 setup?

I can't get ahold of Devinci on the phone or email. I've tried a couple times.

Anyways, I just thought I would put it out there hoping someone or a Devinci factory mechanic might come across this and have an answer.

    Thanks for any help
