Hey guys,
So I bought a used jekyll for fairly cheap and it needs some work done, I've been putting some hours into it and it's about ready to go. However there is a fairly noticeable creak in the pivots/linkage and I'm trying to figure out if I need to replace the bearings or if it is more simple than that. It's a slight creak mostly noticeable when i push/pull on the area where seat tube meets top tube. It's not noticeable while sitting on the bike except really when climbing. I think it may be that the bearings need to be taken out and greased.
What are your guys thoughts? Do you think it's the bearings needing replacement? Should I just take it apart and grease it? I'm not much of a mechanic but I can do some easy taking apart and putting back together.
