Have a friend's 2011 Scott genius 60 which appears to have the shock fully stuck down in compressed mode. So there is no movement at all. I believe the shock is an equalizer 2, any diy fixes or tips to try get it back to normal?

Great thank you I will give this a shot.Sounds like pressure is trapped in the negative chamber which can happen when air is let out too quickly. Pump it up until it fully extends, then slowly let the air out using the bleed button on the shock pump. If the shock starts to suck down when doing this, stop, force it to full extension a time or two, and continue.
