So I got a 2010 RP2 Float DRCV shock on ebay brand new from a guy in the UK that I thought would be a great addition to my 2009 EX8. Well it turns out that the 2009 EVO link will not support the new shock (new mounting on the upper shock mount). So I have a few options.

1. Buy a 2010 EVO link for $120 and get all the additional hardware, including 2 bolts, 2 spacers, and 2 more bearings. Thus selling the 2009 shock and link to offset the cost. Assuming that I get that hardware, will it be a direct bolt-up?? Maybe someone could comment.
2. Buy another 2009 link cheap and machine it to work with the shock. Again sell the 2009 RP2.
3. Forget about the whole thing and stick to the tride and true OE approach.
4. Some other option I have not thought of.

What should I do. I need some expertise. I am assuming someone has wanted to do the same thing, I just haven't been able to figure it out.
