I wanted to see if I could get some feedback on this frame before I buy it. I was getting concerned cause the only two I have seen built up were being sold already (one on ebay and one here). I was curious if people are liking the ride and how the ebb was working out.

here is the frame in question:

I have some serious brand loyalty to spesh, but have been tossing around breaking the trend and getting a tomac flint frame instead. Just hoping there are some good reviews on this frame.

love the ebb
chain stays are a little tight on the back
my 2.25 racing ralphs on flows just fit
running mine with a niner carbon fork
pull the trigger
howeling rear brake

you might want to do more research -- the stumpjumper 29r frames are plagued with a vibrating rear brake mount that will resonate through the frame. Occurs on 08, 09 and 10' models -- more prevelant on the 08 & 09. I have not heard any negatives on the EBB. I have an 08' and don't have any issues with my sliders -- just a howeling vibrating rear brake that Specialized does not know how the fix!
Ebb is awesome on the bike, and the frame rides smooth and silent. I thought the geo was spot on also....and the color looks awesome in person, I say go for it!
Very light frame, probably the best EBB around, great build quality, much greater torsional and bb stiffness than say the Fisher Rig, good geo, climbs awesome. Do it up.

I am actually looking at replacing my GF Rig with this frame. :D
Thanks for the input, I am going to the LBS tomorrow.

Anybody care to post pics of their rig?:)

mine at 20.6 pounds of pure fun
that is a nice bike!
Pulled the trigger on a 2011 since the 2010 was not available in my size. A few differences between the two. The 2011 is $110 cheaper than the 2010. The color pattern is the same but black and white instead of black and tan. It looks like the ebb might be slightly different. The ebb is now anodized red and IIRC its called a super light ebb.

IT should be in late august.

I've had mine for 4 months now and don't regret the choice for one minute. I've had no issue with vibration in the frame what so ever and I'm running bb7's. Final weight was 23.25 lbs. and I built the bike disregarding weight and wet for stoutness.

mine could be allot lighter too
my wheels are flows - alpine spokes - and I9 hubs
they weigh about 2000 gm's
running a 2.4 inch front tire also
and got the tubes in there
now the niner fork is just the weight weenie in me
sometimes I just cant help myself
