May as well repost in a new thread seeing as it's worth it. If you haven't been following the comparison thread, then this is worth it. Verbatim.

SBC-29:

Here is some info on the Carbon S-Works 29er SS frame:

-It will be sold as a frame/fork kit with our custom Reba S29 fork (46mm offset)
-Sizing will be 17.5", 19", 21" (we have 15.5 and 23" sizes in alloy)
-HTA is designed around a 90mm fork and is 71.5 with our 90mm travel fork
-CS length is 436mm
-BB height is 304mm

Here are some photos of the SS frame and one of my rig:

That bike is sick!!!
You mention that specialized will have an aluminum SS stumpie as well? Can't wait. What does that complete build weigh?

I think i prefer the purple and blue.........
I hope that alloy versions will be sold with just the frame, and not a frame/fork combo. Also, I like that they're doing track ends and not sliders/EBB. I hope GF does the same.
So what's MSRP on this frameset?
Dude, Sick! Can't wait to get my wheels for my Marathon 29er... Gearie though..
Yoly fock!!!

Horizontal sliders on a high end frame like that! Awsome!!!!

This is the best thing I've seen since clipless pedals.

Match that with a carbon Lefty and you'd have THE king daddy SS.
I would also like to see SS-WORKS on the downtube.... just sort of makes a lot of sense.

This bike is a winner.
Totally sick! I wondering if you can still mess with the travel on the fork, like pop it up to 100mm or drop it down to 80mm if you wish.

Not to nit pick, but those are not horizontal sliders.

Track ends.
