Hello,

I currently ride a Large 2008 Cannondale Prophet and want to get onto more of a free ride bike.

I like Marin Quakes, but they only make small and medium for 2010. The website suggests that a medium is suitable for riders up to 6'2". I am 6', roughly 200 lbs. Does anyone have experience with the 2010 sizes that could help me out: will I fit? I have tried searches but nothing useful has come up.

Thanks,

MGS

I'm 5'10" and got given Quake as a courtesy bike by my LBS about a couple of months ago. Size M, full Saint gear and quite nice to ride I must say. Very nimble and stiff.

The size M was perfect for me. At 6' might be suitable for you as well but a bit border line. The cockpit might be a bit cramped but maybe putting a long stem might help?

The bike was used for FR so I can't say much about the pedaling capabilities of it. An action pic attached.

Thanks

Ordered a medium last night. After looking over the geometry, the effective top tube length for the Medium quake is less than 1/2 inch shorter than my large Prophet. Given the type of riding that I am intending to do with this bike, I think it will be just fine.

Thanks again,

MGS
