Sadly enough, I'm out this year b/c of a family/religious thing that afternoon. I wish I could make it though. You all have fun!! Watch out, I hear there will be a turkey on the loose. ;)
Every year, I have a family luncheon at noon. It hasn't stopped me yet from attending turkey ride.

This year will be family dinner though dammit.

The training has started btw. Ahh, I crack myself up! I asked Miguel how he climbed the whole Jones trail with just a couple quick water breaks when it was a monster struggle before. He said: "i didn't want fall over in front of your friends."

In, possibly with a keg.
Right on. I saw your coworkers yesterday at the trail. Make sure all you Loral buddies go.

Great video -- VERY COOL! Is that a 24" CF Ore.. ?
Thanks. No, that's a 26" road bike. It's his first time on clipless so I had him click and unclick 20x.

We need to get Bike Party up there. Then it will be game over.

Does anyone know the organizers?
There is a test ride for the Nov route going on Friday Night.
PM me for details and you can go and invite the crew in person...all while getting a ride in.

I will help tow up Rolling Thunder!!!
If the SJ bike party crowd can actually get up there (which may be asking a bit too much), mass carnage will occur on the way down.

I want to see someone get flung off the edge on a double high with their beats pumping the whole way down!

In for my 2nd year. I convinced one first-timer to join and I'm working on a couple more.

Can't wait!
Yeah, it'll be my 5th. It always seems like a good idea in early November. Then you wake up Turkey day, it's cold, damp, and come to the stark reality of humping yer stuffz up a 2000' hill.

I usually talk big on MTBR prior to the event so that it's too hard to flake out and sleep in....

mmmmm beer!
