Just picked up a SS Stumpjumper frame for a good deal and am not 100% on where to go from here. Was looking to buy the fork first. I have had my eye on a rockshox tora. I know its not as nice as the reba that is supposed to go with it but I'm still in school and have to make this as cheapish as possible. I want this to perform well but does not need to be race ready. I'm not too concerned with weight. I'm looking more for reliability. Any thoughts?

The 2011 Tora 29er fork is coil with cheap steel uppers. For not much more you could get a Manitou Tower with a MUCH better damper

I have not heard much about the manitou... Anyone else have any feedback on this fork. If not what yould you recomend on a fork for around 300.

I'm not crazy about the color red but I have a guy that will sell me a 2010 tora for $125.

The Tora is a good riding fork. Just a little heavy.
