Got a choice to make.

2009 SL Pro Carbon
2010 Expert

Anyone with a 2010/11 that can compare to the older design?

Thanks

I prefer the 2010's geometry and suspension performance, as well as its looks. I was a little concerned that it would be harder to climb the 2010, but the seat tube angle of 75 degrees vs. the 74 degree of the 2009 makes up for the slacker head tube angle of the 2010.

The low bottom bracket of the 2010 takes a little getting used to after coming off of the 2009, but the you'll forget all about timing your pedaling when you're glued to the bottom of turns on the downhill.

The more raked out fork of the 2010 makes a difference in super slow steering, but you get used to that too.

In a nutshell, there are certainly compromises when going with a more low/slack bike, but thy're far outweighed by the benefits. Get the 2010.

My 2009 and 2010 bro-ing out in the garage:

If both were the same price with similar components, I'd pick the 2010 all day long!!

Either way, you'll get a good bike.

Good Luck!!

I am selling a 07 S-works enduro sl to get a 2011 enduro. I think the new enduro is much better at the down but not quite as good at the up. I have demoed a 2010 and it just kills it on the down

Theres not too many bikes I would choose over my 07 SL but the new Enduro is for sure one of them. Actually, its the only one.

I cant wrap my head around a carbon +6 inch frame either.

I was leaning towards the 2010 expert but the carbon 2009 pro is such a great deal and $500 less.
Going out today for some test rides.

Test rides went well.

Rode a large 2010 Comp and the medium 2009 Carbon Pro. (The 2010 Expert was a medium and just too cramped.) Funny how the two styles frames are sized so different.

Liked both, but the deal on the 09 was better then expected and couldn't pass it up!

They even through in a white Phenom!
