I want to change out the crank set on my 2009 FSR XC XL and I recently acquired a FC M752 Shimano Deore XT Crankset. The bottom bracket currently on my bike is a Shimano BB-ES25, Octalink spline, 68mm x 118mm. I know i have to change out the bottom bracket to a BB-ES70 or 71. Will this bracket work on my bike?

Yes, a 118mm spindle will result in a 50mm chainline which is standard these days.
