Anyone heard anything about a 29er Scalpel coming out next year? I want a new bike, but would probably wait for that one.

Nope. I had heard the rumor late last year that they were releasing one in '09. Haven't been into the mtb scene as much lately, but thought I would see what you guys have heard since you all have your finger on the pulse of all things C'dale.

I've heard nothing, seen nothing and the feeling over in Bethel was clearly not in favour of a 29'er racer.
If they build a XC 29'er for 2009 it will be a Rush first then perhaps a Scalpel for mid year intro.

Too bad. I would think a 29er Scalpel would be a rig - light(ish) and just enough suspension to take the edge off.
