Just picked up a new 2008 Reba Team U-turn today. I see that the fork includes the Pushloc, which I hadn't intended on installing, as I don't have one (or a poploc) my older (2005) Reba or my Pike. I don't see the need for more clutter on my bar.

However, it appears that with the newer Reba, you have to use the Pushloc or you can't adjust the compression damping. Is this correct? Can I swap the manual compression adjustment from the older Reba onto the new one and use the Pushloc on the old one?

to get the adjustment in the crown, you would need to swap the complete MotionControl compression assembly from your other Reba. The one for the poplock is spring loaded, so it would return to "open position" if you just swapped the dial.

Alternatively, I have read that some people managed to remove the spring on it, but I don't know the details on that...
