Has anyone got any opinions on the new 2007 XTR Cranks. The rings on my XT hollowtech need replacing and I was thinking of replacing the whole crank.
I believe the fitting is slightly different with no pinch bolts on the non drive side and a collar to preload the bearings. Does anyone know if this setup is hard to install and if you need any specialist tools except for the bottom bracket bearing spanner.
I read somewhere that the finnish on the can wear quite quickly.
