2007 Turners whats new?

Yeah its that crazy time of the year again and its only July and we all want 07 stuff arghh when will it end.

Anyways my question is I'm gonna add an RFX to the stable but before I do what if any changes will be made in 07, I have always loved Turners even when on the otherside for one of many reasons they evolve slowy because they have a top product and don't do changes for marketing or just the hell of it the ride speaks for itself not the artifical gloss on top or lightweight saving gimics, just well designed and executed and made.

But Im in no rush with my project RFX, though it will come together in less the 9months no dis intended.:D

But I am interested in knowing if there are any improvements if that is possible!
My Spot and its new partner will be in the stable for a long time so I want to be current if thats possible.

Have my parts specc put together and will start assembling it while the frame takes its time to come via my LBS.

One thing I do know it'll be custom Gloss White<o></o><o></o>
I know another one. Ive always been Black so I want to go to the other spectrum and do a Claw version of the RFX even if it means peanut butter and bread and milk, so be it to have the ultimate RFX in my eyes.;)

So my bars and stem and cranks are gonna get the PC white treatment, she might be sore on the eyes but hay its all or nothing.

Any info will be cool cheers Homer Nation!

Well, the big thing in development is the Flux-29er. That is probably eating most of the development resources (Dave's brain :) ). I think DT said a 4x bike was in the future still, maybe? Also sounds like a sasquatch edition limited run of Highlines may happen if people put their money where their whining is. ;)

Maybe a snowbike? Oh, that's my department. Look for a Flux edition of that this winter! :D

PS- You are looking at the FIRST Turner 29er right there. Two birds with one stone.

...Tscheez, always loved that configuration....so freakin' monstrous, yet practical!:D
Hey T thats a Spot 29er aint it and I see a mav on there wheres the Pike or is this because the fat wheels!:D
Thats cool..
And I see a pushed DHXa I thought they hadn't come up with that one yet:eek:

A 29er Flux will be awesome!
VPP I hope....why the hell not?
No VPP!

I personally don't want to see that if I wanted Vpp Id get a Nomad.

Even Specialised are changing the long time FSR into a walking beam linkage on the Enduro, IMO is a mistake for them but validates the walking beam even further..
Hopefully DT keeps doing what he does if it aint broke don't fix it!:nono:
A review of the snowbike, please. Looks like it's got to be a blast to ride.
Do those xc boots have NNN pins AND cleats?

Sick.

Really? That sounds like it could be quite a foray into the ICT layout...I'm sure Spechy and EW worked out all their legal bits...
EW: "Uh that's getting a little close to our design."
Spechy: "Are You talkin to me? Are YOU talking to me?? There isn't anyone else here so you must be talking to me."
:p

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm trailadvent, trailadvent, trailadvent, is the above statement 100%, one of our great riding buddies recieved a tonne of stick from you for having his 5 Spotty.... I always thought the rare stay was far better than the quality of E rth, we agreed on that............... Anyway, just joshing ya................... Good to see you moving away from black, knew you would come around..................:D :D :D :D :D

Oh come on, we already did TNT. Now it's time for VPP.

Specialized is not changing the FSR link, it still exists. It has nothing to do with the "walking beam" part of the bike. It only has to do with the rear horst link dropout. How it is acheived, either mac-strut, walking beam link, interuppted seat tube link, swing link from the TT, or whatever, does not affect it being or not being an FSR. It's still an FSR as long as it's still a horst link.

Very Nomad like. Interesting indeed. As you say still FSR.................... Will still stick with our scooters, no Specilized for me.............
Looks like tire clearance wasn't high on the list of priorities when developing this fork.

Whafe nice avatar bit tastier than the Jedi seamstress.

Just hid it well! I rode an Epiphany today and it was fast but I'm sure glad I got the Spot, Epi is no where near as stiff in the rear and I kept rubbing my legs against the rockers (they are pitting also umm) would be a nice endurance bike if above was sorted but I now believe too light 5inches above does wierd things to stability and feel in the air hard to find neutral.

I can push the Spot way faster and feel more comfortable doin it. I could get the Spot down to a nice lightweight for 12/24 with and RP3 and Rev lightweight wheel set and it'd be nice too, really enjoying the T dude and the T nation very relaxing and discreet on the trails, people more friendly to Turner riders too:p less agro?

Anyways you started me on a white wave wheels may even go white though jurys still out here yet:skep: I9s? Will leave the white blue combo for you, will go a little gold to break the many white parts.
Shell be a white streak flying over the new Downhill 5x fence jump higher if you go faster land further down the hill yeahaaa! I have the air bug at mo hope Spot can handle the punishment until RFX hits the trails:nono:

Not moving away from black just adding white:D to the stable contrast extreme lol so to speak!

Jayem stand corrected, though I don't think I said they were dropping FSR still it looks like a Giant/Specialised merge, I don't like it myself but hey whatever floats peoples boat, suspension looks interesting too seems a strange gamble when the competion is so rife with so many good options out there now.

There changes every 2yrs does my head in I'd hate to be a specialised owner.

Ts look to me to remain current for a very long time nice always thinking of the customer, thats why I want another one rather than buying a new model, every to years or so, just me.

But back to the thread any more info on 07 Turners! DT;) can you give any secrets, though I would be happy if no changes myself, other than the above mentioned 29er and 4x.
