Hi im wondering if anyone can help me out here. I have a 2007 Trek 4500 I picked up for cheap only issue is there is no cables on bike, shift or brake. Can any one either measure there's or point me in the right direction for obtaining the right length cable housings. I have been looking online for a few days now without much luck.. Thanks and I appreciate the help.!

all bikes are a bit different size/shape

you need to get housing and cables that is longer than needed
then cut it to size while installing.

standard brake and shift cables+housing...jagwire is a good brand

Yes i know all bikes are different thats why i was hoping someone with a 2007 Trek 4500 could help me out. I already have Jagwire shift and brake cables. but i do not know the lengths of housing i need. and rather then ruin the new housing by cutting them to short, i was hoping some one else that has the same year and model trek could help out

That info doesn't exist. Run the housing from the lever to the brake and then cut it to the length you desire.

You just eyeball it, there is no database with this info. If you arent comfortable with that, may be best to take it to a shop. Should be less than $100 for a tune up and fresh cables/housing.
