i'm guessing this for adjustability. You can adjust the headangle by raising/lowering of the crown (within its limits)
I think the adjustment on a bolt on single crown is either on/off. Not trying to be a smart ass, but it seems like suicide from a liability standpoint to offer any type of adjustment there. I never had one of the original Z1s, so I can't say, but I hope it's not a one year run to try to be retro. That seems stupid. It may be an asset though. I did just send my fork off for new uppers, and that could have been remedied on the 07s with a wrench, likelly. I don't know though. Do any of the marz guys post on here?

Not for adjustment:nono: but for lower replacement cost if you crash and scratch/ding/damage a stanchion or your steertube / crown assembly.

I would agree with you 100% but why are there tolerance marks on the stanch. ? If it was ment to be put in a specific spot why would there be 1" more than whats needed between the min/max spots?

Just to clarify: Dual crown yes. Single crown no.

They should stick to white and/or black... for stanchions too.
agreed. having optional colors would be cool too, but not only those colors. everyone who is running this brand in 07 will either have a bike that looks like an old persons car, the 888, or a clown bike with the green and orange.

i predict in 08 we get tie-dye and the for 09 GLOW IN THE DARK... that would be pretty cool though.

Cannondale already have glow in the dark decals on some bikes so it's not a stretch to see in on forks...
