When I ordered mine, they said mid December. I just found out it was to be shipped on Thursday December 15. I am hoping it will be in my habds sometime this week. Who knows how long shipping will take with the Christmas postage rush.

On a sidenote, I called Titus and asked about the frame weight of the 2006 Racer X. They told me 4.8~4.9lbs for the Small Anodized frame with RP3 shock. (I don't know if this is really true.)

Well, Yeti ASR-SL quotes the small frame at 4.9lb, so it wouldn't be a surprise if it weighs in at 4.9lbs.

I recently got an 05 Racer X Small Ano and it came in at 5.41 lbs. That's with the seat collar and 06 rp3 shock. No titanium hardware. I've been told the front triangle is identical 05 to 06 (hydroform tubing and all). I can't believe the carbon stays would drop the weight by 0.5 lbs. Anyways, love the bike!

I think the 4.8~4.9lb frame weight is without seat collar, which makes sense with claimed weight for 2005. Seat collar would be around 20~90g or so, (0.05~0.2lbs) give or take a few depending on the type of collar. (My current one weighs around 60g.) With the seat collar, 06 would be around 5.1 lb, as my guess goes.

Also, it is not just the carbon stays that are different. The lower chain stays are still aluminum, but they are different from 05, "claiming" that is is lighter. Front triangle is the same from 05. They state that from the carbon stays, they saved about 0.28lb.

We'll just have to wait and see.
