I am considering purchasing a 2006 Ironhorse Sunday Team, there are a few quires i have that maybe you could help me with. This will be a race bike for me, with a few gaps here and there.

1. The bike comes with a 5th element 3 way rear shock, what will it be like, will it be crap compared to a 4 or 6 way.

2. Have the hardware, pivots, bearing and shock tuning issues been sorted out.

3. Will the low bb cause issues on the race track, do the pedals hit in corners.

OK, I've had my 05 Team for a few days, but I'll do my best to answer.
1) I think the Shock is tuned to the Sunday, you should only really have to touch the rebound adjustment as the rest are as low (or high, not sure which way it goes) as they go and changing them would reduce performance.
2) No idea, probably.
3) Maybe, if you pedal while leaning, I've had that while messing around in a carpark, but with any normal form (outside foot weighted) I don't see it being a problem.
