Here is what you were wondering about; the 2005 Lahar is the highest end hardtail Raleigh will release this model year. They will have a Raleigh Team Mountain bike but it's only being sold as a frame only.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up! I assume it will be similar to the Talus with LX/XT components? Hmm, was looking into getting a nice Raleigh Team or Prestige road bike, as I have been bitten by the road bug as well! Donations accepted!
