Maybe a stupid question, but here goes...Anybody know what adding air to the compression side does? How about the rebound side?
I know on my 2005 Z1 adding air (rebound side only) adds preload and some bottoming resistance...
thanks~

Very little Air

Thanks for the info. Two preload valves seems odd and unecessary but who knows...maybe it'll make sense after I toy around with pressures.
I am running mine with hardly any air. I was running no air, but realized that I had about 4" of sag. After riding the shore I realized that I needed to get it a little firmer. The amount I added barley moved the needle, I think three pumps on the shock pump.
Oh, I am running mine in the 170mm set-up with 220cc's of oil in each leg.
