Does anyone ride a 2004 Chaparral with a rr shock other than the Romic or Fox Vanilla series? I notice the the Vanilla RC has a reservoir and I have been told and I have read that shcoks with reservoirs will hit the bottom (down) tube upon compression. Any feedback will be helpful. Thanks!

This might be true, and I think the problem was fixed for 2005. Do a search on the DH/FR board, there was a post about it approx. 1-2 weeks ago, but I can't remember if it was all piggyback shocks or just a specific one.
