I currently have a quick release on my bike but i want to know if there is any way i can change it to a 20mm axle without having to change my hub

In most cases, no.

Don't even go there, now some hubs can be QR or 20mm.

Go out and get a 20mm fork and do it safe..

Front 20mm hubs don't have to be expensive to be good either so you can build a relitively cheap front wheel if you choose yr parts wisley. Good luck..
