The line is pretty much straight towards the camera.

After the initial punch-in-the-face climb, this downhill was a lot of fun. It had medium level rocks combined with medium level speed for several miles.

The Turners (RFX left, 5Spot right) wanted a rest.
</img>

The views sucked.
</img>

Bear would have eaten this guy just on principle.

After about twice the estimated mileage, we finally exited the woods. It's always best to go too big on the first day.

The next day ventured deep into the woods before looping back towards civilization.
</img>

Saw a bear cub scampering along the trail leading here.
</img>

That might be Maryland in the distance but I'm not certain.
</img>

This next section is absolutely menacing.
</img>

Chunky ups and downs which you'd better not stop if you want to get started again.
</img>

Another crappy view spoiled.
</img>

Back to the nutty rock sections.
</img>

This does not let up.
</img>

After a while it starts to wear a person out.

If you have any latent shoulder injuries, they seem to arise here.

Finally headed downhill.
</img>

No pictures of the epic downhill which lasts for miles and throws the book at you in terms of variety and difficulty of obstacles at various speeds.

Civil war meth lab to conclude day 2.

Day 3 was off to a wonderful and wild day trip.
</img>

The views were a little better here.
</img>

But the views still sucked.
</img>

The ridge went up and down repeatedly.
</img>

And varied from tight woods to open paths.
</img>

A tricky little up move caught you unaware since it was hidden by a corner.

A rock to roll.
</img>

One of my favorite rock combo lines.

A spring bubbling up right from the ground created a small stream flowing down away from the trail.

Back to the chunk!

Notice anything odd about this sign? I didn't at first.

The fourth and final day of REBEL had lots of tough loose climbing followed by a really run rocky downhill.

Near the end of the trip and damage had added up and I was feeling pain.
</img>
