Hey, cool, we now have a VT, NH, MA forum!

Here are two spots I really like near Burlington. I'm from Montreal so these are not too far and plenty of fun.

The one I really like is SleepyHollow. There is not enough miles for my taste but what is there is quite some fun. Tight singletrack, pretty steep, rocks, roots,... Everytime I go there I've got a grin on my face for the following few days.

I also go to Kingdomtrails VT once in a while.

Any suggestions of nice spots for me to discover this summer?

In exchange for your suggestions, here is one from me, a Canadian French destination!

It's just a bit north of the VT border. Quite some fun. Less miles than Kingdomtrails but more challenging. The difficulty is kind of in between Kingdomtrails and SleepyHollow. There is a campground right there and if you come with the family then they can go visit the park while you have fun on the trails!

Hope to see you NorthEasterners on trails this summer.

Cheers.

VT suggestion...

If you want to go on a unique ride, check out the guys at Green Mountain Cyclery in Rochester Vermont. About an hour south of Burlington on rt.100. They do guided tours in the Green Mountain National Forest for riders of all abilities. They also have a SICK shop and Doon and Dylan are the coolest biker-dudes I've met anywhere.

Next time you're down around Catamount, drop me a line. There's another great ride just over the river.

I keep meaning to head north of the border to check out Bromont. A few years ago I had a great day skiing there with their marketing guy (Charles, I believe.) The terrain looks to have a lot of variety from scary to cruisy.
