have a full suspension trek fuel project one, would love to run something bigger than my 2.1's".....before i buy, anyone have an idea if i'll have enough frame clearance?

It's hard to say. Not all "2.3" tires are actually 2.3" wide. Some are narrower, some are wider. Plus, the profile of the tire makes a difference as well. See if anyone locally has a tire that size mounted on a wheel that you can stick on your bike to check clearance.

thanks..........just doing sme quick browsing for sales when it struck me that they may/may not be too big. my 2.1 seracs don't leave a ton of room in the rear from what i remember.

Depends on the specific tire. Actual dimensions vary widely. Check the specs on my Tire Site to estimate which may fit in your bike.

If a 2.1" Serac XC doesn't leave much room, I doubt most 2.3" tires will fit. The Serac XC are quite small for a 2.1", they are more like a 1.9" tire.

thanks all, after much research and confirmation from TREK, i'm pretty much stuck to the 2.1 size....just ordered some panaracer cinders, if anyone needs some 2.1 serac UST's, send me some beer money and they're yours.
